Weather: Small Sunday Storm Chance

CHIEF METEOROLOGIST MARK BADEN IN FOR JUNEAU AND IT’S FAIR SEASON FESTIVAL SEASON. SO MUCH GOING ON AND GREAT WEATHER. I’M JUST STUCK ON THE SALTED CARAMEL. THAT SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD, REALLY. YOU GOT TO GET ONE. I’VE NEVER HAD THE FLAVORED MILK. NEVER EVER, NEVER. I’M USUALLY DOING THE CREAM PUFFS. THAT’S WHAT I’M AGING MYSELF. IT USED TO BE A QUARTER. NOW IT’S A DOLLAR, A DOLLAR INFLATION I’M GOING TO DO. IT’S TOUGH TIMES. I GOT TO BRING FOUR EXTRA BUCKS NOW SO I CAN GET ALL FOUR. ALL RIGHT. SO IF YOU CAN’T WAIT TILL THE STATE FAIR WAUKESHA COUNTY FAIR IS GOING ON RIGHT NOW AND THEY’VE GOT REALLY NICE WEATHER TO ENJOY. ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DO ALL AROUND SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN. WE’RE LOVING IT. 78 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN GLENDALE. NOT OVERLY STICKY. LET’S GET A LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE FROM THE TOP OF THE US BANK BUILDING. ALWAYS LIKE TO SEE ALL THE SAILBOATS AND THE OTHER BOATS THAT ARE OUT THERE ENJOYING THEMSELVES. ON A DAY LIKE TODAY. OR YOU COULD BE SEE, THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA THAT THEY’RE GETTING WATCHED RIGHT NOW. 77 DEGREES RIGHT NOW. HOW ARE YOU GUYS DOING FROM THE TOP OF THE HOTEL VERNON IN RACINE? I ALWAYS FEEL A LITTLE GUILTY DOING THAT BECAUSE THEY DON’T KNOW THEY’RE BEING WATCHED. CHECK OUT ALL THE FOLKS ON BRADY STREET. IT IS PACKED AND THE WEATHER IS PERFECT. TEMPERATURES HANGING OUT IN THE 70S. WE’LL BE ABOUT 77 AT 7:00 AND THEN STILL AROUND 70. ALL THE WAY THROUGH 11:00. IT IS A GREAT EVENING TO HAVE YOUR DINNER OUTSIDE, GO TO ONE OF THE FESTIVALS. JUST ENJOY YOURSELF. GO TAKE A WALK HIGH TEMPERATURE TODAY, ACTUALLY A LITTLE BIT BELOW AVERAGE WITH 81. THE AVERAGE HIGH IS 82. A FAIR NUMBER OF BLUE COLORS ON THIS MAP. THAT MEANS WE’RE ACTUALLY A LITTLE BIT BELOW AVERAGE FOR THE MONTH OF JULY. PROBABLY WON’T END UP THERE TODAY. MADE THE 18TH DAY THIS SUMMER, AND WHEN WE START SUMMER METEOROLOGICALLY THAT’S JUNE. THE FIRST. WE’VE HAD SOME CHILLY DAYS. FIVE OF THOSE IN THE 60S, 21 DAYS IN THE 70S. I THINK WE’RE GOING TO SEE A LOT MORE 80S. THAT 80S NUMBER WILL BE OVERTAKING THE 70S. WE’VE HAD A FEW DAYS IN THE 90S AS WELL. ALL RIGHT. SUNDAY WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TEMPS AROUND 80 DEGREES. SMALL CHANCE OF AN ISOLATED SHOWER STORM. IT GETS STICKIER FOR TOMORROW. YOU’RE DEFINITELY GOING TO FEEL A DIFFERENCE IN THE HUMIDITY AS THE DAY GOES ON. DEW POINT TEMPERATURES RISING INTO THE MID 60S RIGHT NOW 78 HERE, 84 DEGREES IN GREEN BAY. A LITTLE CHILLY THERE IN MARQUETTE WITH JUST 6668 DEGREES IN SUPERIOR. HERE COMES THAT STICKINESS. IT’S ACTUALLY GOING TO KIND OF FILTER IN FROM THE NORTH, WHICH SEEMS A LITTLE ODD, BUT THAT’S WHERE THE STICKIER AIR IS RIGHT NOW. AND THERE’S A FRONT THAT’S WORKING ITS WAY DOWN TO THE SOUTH, A VERY WEAK ONE. ALL RIGHT. SO WE GET A LITTLE STICKIER. IT GETS A LITTLE LESS ON MONDAY. AND THEN YEAH, WE MOVE INTO THE IRRITATING TERRITORY AS WE HEAD INTO WEDNESDAY. AND THURSDAY, THE AFOREMENTIONED STORMS THAT WE HAVE UP NORTH. AND, UH, THEY’RE GOING TO MOVE THEIR WAY SOUTH. BUT NOTICE HOW THEY KIND OF FALL APART. I THINK A LITTLE BIT MORE CLOUDS FOR TOMORROW THAN WE HAD FOR TODAY. AND A COUPLE OF ISOLATED SHOWERS, MAYBE AN ISOLATED STORM IF YOU GET UNDERNEATH ONE OF THESE, YOU COULD GET SOME HEAVIER DOWNPOURS. IT’S NOT GOING TO LAST THAT LONG. I DON’T WANT YOU TO CHANGE YOUR SUNDAY PLANS, BUT DON’T BE SHOCKED TO SEE A FEW SCATTERED SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS. SO THAT’S WHY TOMORROW, KIND OF A YELLOW DAY ON MOWING THE GRASS AND NOT THE BEST CONDITIONS AND YOU GET THE GREEN LIGHT AS WE HEAD INTO MONDAY AND TUESDAY. A HEADS UP BECAUSE SOME MOSQUITOES ARE OUT AND ABOUT AND THEY’RE PROBABLY NOT GOING ANYWHERE ANYTIME SOON. SO THAT MIX OF CLOUDS AND SUN TOMORROW WITH THAT SMALL CHANCE OF STORMS, MOST OF THE DAY IS GREAT. MONDAY LOOKING GOOD. HIGH OF 80. ACTUALLY, MOST OF THE SEVEN DAYS LOOKING GOOD. A LITTLE STICKIER AGAIN ON TUESDAY. BEST CHANCE OF RAIN THE ENTIRE WEEK COMES IN HERE ON WEDNESDAY AND THEN ON THURSDAY. FRIDAY, SATURDAY. NOT BAD AN
