AND MARK, WE NEED TO WATCH OUT FOR FLOODED ROADS. YEAH. ESPECIALLY SOUTH. THAT’S WHERE WE HAVE THAT FLASH FLOOD WARNING THAT DOES CONTINUE INTO KENOSHA COUNTY. THAT GOES UNTIL 1215. IN THE MEANTIME, RAIN ON THE LENS HERE IN DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE. THERE’S ANOTHER AMAZING LIGHT SHOW IN TERMS OF LIGHTNING. NOT AS MUCH LIGHTNING OUT THERE NOW. AND THAT IS GOOD NEWS. YOU CAN SEE TRAFFIC ROLLING ALONG PRETTY WELL HERE ON I-94. THAT IS WESTBOUND. THAT’S EASTBOUND 72 DEGREES. GET READY FOR A MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE AIR MASS THAT’S GOING TO MOVE IN THIS FORECAST IS SO MUCH BETTER. IF YOU DIDN’T LIKE ALL THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY. IT’S GOING TO BE GREAT. THIS WEEK 68 DEGREES RIGHT NOW FOR THE TOP OF THE BANK FIVE NINE BUILDING IN DOWNTOWN OCONOMOWOC A LITTLE BIT OF LIGHT RAIN COMING DOWN THERE. WE TAKE YOU TO NEW BERLIN. WE HAD SOME AWESOME LIGHTNING STRIKES HERE WITHIN THE LAST HOUR. NOW THINGS QUIETING DOWN. THIS IS THE ROOFTOP OF HOTEL VERNON. NOBODY OUT ON THE ROOFTOP TONIGHT WITH GOOD REASON. BECAUSE THE RAIN CONTINUES TO COME DOWN. THAT’S THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING THAT CONTINUES INTO KENOSHA COUNTY AGAIN UNTIL 1215. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH, THE TORNADO WATCH. THEY ARE CANCELED. WE WERE FORTUNATE HERE WHERE WE WERE IN SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN BECAUSE THE REALLY NASTY WEATHER STAYED DOWN TO THE SOUTH OF US. NOW WE STILL HAVE THIS CHUNK OF YELLOW. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? IT’S JUST GENERALLY JUST A MODERATE RAINFALL AND THAT WILL CONTINUE TO ADD UP. AND YOU CAN SEE THIS EXTENDS ALL THE WAY INTO SHEBOYGAN COUNTY. NOT A WHOLE LOT OF RAIN EXPECTED AS WE WORK OUR WAY THROUGH THE REST OF THE NIGHTTIME HOURS IN OUR NORTHWESTERN COUNTIES. AS SOME OF YOU WILL PICK UP AS MUCH AS AN INCH OF RAIN OVERNIGHT, MOST AREAS WILL GET LESS THAN THAT. BUT AGAIN, THERE’S THE STEADY RAIN AND YOU CAN SEE A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES HERE AND THERE. NOT NEARLY AS MUCH AS WE HAD BEFORE. AND THERE’S THAT FLASH FLOOD WARNING THAT I WAS MENTIONING THAT GOES UNTIL 1215. BIG PICTURE. WHERE’S THE REALLY NASTY WEATHER? IT WAS JUST SOUTH OF US IN CHICAGO, WHERE THERE’S OVER 200,000 CUSTOMERS ALREADY WITHOUT POWER IN CHICAGO, NUMEROUS REPORTS OF TORNADOES. IT WAS THAT CLOSE TO US, AND I’M HAPPY TO SAY THAT YES, IT WASN’T HERE, BUT HOPEFULLY EVERYBODY’S ALL RIGHT DOWN IN CHICAGOLAND. QUIETER WEATHER. LET’S TALK ABOUT THE NICE WEATHER THAT WE HAVE DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY, INCLUDING TOMORROW. TEENY CHANCE OF AN ISOLATED SHOWER LATE IN THE DAY. BUT IT’S A VERY SMALL CHANCE. AND THEN SUNSHINE, SUNSHINE, SUNSHINE. WE GET TO DO THIS MANY, MANY DAYS IN A ROW. FUTURECAST SHOWS HOW QUIET IT IS AS IT MOVES AWAY, AND THEN WE’RE JUST LEFT WITH WONDERFUL WEATHER THAT SEVERE THREAT WAS NASTY. EARLIER WE HAD A LEVEL FOUR SEVERE THREAT INDEX. THAT’S PRETTY RARE FOR US, BUT THAT STAYED JUST SOUTH OF US. WHAT TO EXPECT THE REST OF THE NIGHT STORMS THROUGH MIDNIGHT. STRONGER STORMS STAYED IN ILLINOIS. GUSTY WINDS STILL POSSIBLE HERE AND THERE. THE RAIN LONG GONE BY MORNING AND WE JUST GET TO ENJOY THAT BEAUTIFUL STRETCH OF WEATHER. TEMPERATURES HANGING OUT IN THE 70S TO AROUND 80 DEGREES WHERE WE’VE HAD THE RAIN. IT’S COOLER, BUT IT’S STILL REALLY STICKY. BUT THERE’S MUCH COOLER AIR TO COME. LOOK AT INTERNATIONAL FALLS AND THAT DRIER AIR WILL BE WORKING IN, AND WE’LL WATCH THE DEW POINTS GOING DOWN AS THE WEEK GOES ON, AND IT’LL GET REALLY NICE MIDWEEK ALL THE WAY THROUGH THIS UPCOMING WEEKEND. NOT A BAD DAY TOMORROW. STILL A LITTLE STICKY DEW POINTS IN THE MID 60S. AND THEN THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I’VE HAD A SEVEN DAY WITHOUT ANY CHANCE OF RAIN ON IT. AND SO, SO LONG MANY, MANY DAYS IN A ROW AT LEAST SEVEN. I MEAN, SERIOUSLY, I DON’T THINK I’VE HAD A SEVEN DAY WITHOUT RAIN IN IT FOR, I DON’T KNOW, A YEAR. IT’S JUST LOVELY. SO LET’S SOAK IT ALL IN, ENJOY TH

A flash flood warning has been issued for Kenosha county until 12:15 AM. An estimated 2 inches of rain have fallen and more rain is continuing this evening. Turn around, don't drown, that is the saying if you see any flooded roads. pic.twitter.com/wmlNyE9ru2
