Wellesley College lies between Washington Street and Central Street, just west of the center of the town of Wellesley.

The College's address is: 106 Central St., Wellesley, MA, 02481. That's at the intersection of Route 16 and Route 135.

You can get here by car, train, bus, and plane—or some combination of those. Details on suggested itineraries below.

By Car -- via Route 9 or Route 30

From the West

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Exit 117 (Natick/Framingham/Route 30). Take Route 30 East 0.2 miles to the first set of lights. Turn right on Speen Street and drive 1.8 miles to the intersection with Route 135. Take a left onto Route 135 East and drive 3.6 miles to a traffic light, which will be at the main entrance of the College.

Once on campus, Admission Office visitors should follow signs along College Road to theAdmission parking lot(0.6 miles from the College entrance). All other visitors may park in the Davis Parking Facility, immediately to the right after the main entrance.

From the East

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) West to 123B (Weston/I-95/Route 128). Travel south 2 miles on I-95/ Route 128 to Exit 36A/B (Framingham/Worcester/ Route 9 West). Drive west on Route 9 for 3.9 miles. Turn right at the green Weston Road/Weston sign. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Weston Road. Drive 1 mile to the traffic light at the intersection of Route 135. Turn right onto 135 West and drive one-half mile to the first traffic light, which will be at the main entrance of the College (College Road). Turn left onto College Road.

Once on campus, Admission Office visitors should follow signs along College Road to theAdmission parking lot(0.6 miles from the College entrance). All other visitors may park in the Davis Parking Facility, immediately to the right after the main entrance.

FromLogan Airport

Logan International is the nearest airport. Take the Ted Williams Tunnel from the airport to the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90); follow directions from the east (above).

From the North or South
Take I-95/Route 128 to Exit 36 A/B (Framingham/Worcester/Route 9 West). Follow directions above from Route 9 West.

By Car -- via Route 16

From the West

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 123 (Weston). Take Interstate 95/Route 128 South for 1/2 mile to Exit 37A/B (Route 16). Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (west). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College. You may park in the Davis Parking Facility immediately to your right or follow directions toAdmission Parking.

From the East

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90) to Exit 125 (West Newton). Follow Route 16 West for 4.7 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College. You may park in the Davis Parking Facility immediately to your right or follow directions toAdmission Parking.

From the North

Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) South to Exit 37A/B (Route 16 West). Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College. You may park in the Davis Parking Facility immediately to your right or follow directions toAdmission Parking.

From the South

Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) North to Exit 37A/B (Route 16 West). Follow Route 16 West for 2.9 miles to a stoplight (5-way intersection) in the town of Wellesley; go straight on Route 135 (West). At the third traffic light turn left into the main entrance of the College. You may park in the Davis Parking Facility immediately to your right or follow directions toAdmission Parking.

Parking

You may park in the Davis Parking Facility. Admission Office visitors should follow signs along College Road to the Admission parking lot (0.6 miles from the College entrance). If you have any questions about parking, please go to the Campus Police office, located in the Davis Parking Facility.

Admission Parking

Once on campus, Admission Office visitors should follow signs along College Road to the Admission parking lot, located near Dower Hall (0.6 miles from the College entrance). The Admission Office is located in Weaver House, across the street from Dower Hall. If you are unable to find a parking space in the Dower Hall parking lot, please park in the Davis Parking Facility by the main College entrance on Route 135. The walking distance between the Davis Parking Facility and Weaver House is approximately 15 minutes. Parking is free at both locations. Handicapped parking spaces are available next to the entrance of Weaver House.

By Plane -- fromLogan International Airport

Take a taxi directly to Wellesley College.See Taxison Wellesley College's transportation web site. Allow at least an hour for the commute (more at rush hour). The fare will be approximately $60-$65 (subject to change) plus tolls and gratuity.

OR

Take theLogan Express bus, which picks up at all airline terminals, to Framingham. Allow at least an hour for the commute. Call 1-800-23-LOGAN for more information, 9 am-5 pm.

From Framingham, take a taxi to the College.See Taxison Wellesley College's transportation web site. Allow half an hour for the ride to Wellesley. The fare will be approximately $16.

OR

Take thefree shuttle busto theMBTA Airport Subway stop. Take the Blue Line Inbound four stops to Government Center. Go upstairs and change to the Green Line. Ride an Outbound subway marked "RIVERSIDE-D" to Woodland, the second to last stop on the D line. Subway fare is $2.00.

From Woodland, take a taxi to the College.See Taxison Wellesley College's transportation web site. The fare will be approximately $20-25. Allow two hours for total commute.

By Train

From theAmtrak terminalat South Station, take theFramingham/Worcester Commuter Railto the Wellesley Square stop. The commute is approximately half an hour. One-way fare is $5.25. You should buy the ticket in South Station, since there is $1 surcharge for purchasing tickets on the train. Exact change is not required, but paying on the train is cash only.

Go up the stairs and turn left onto Crest Road; follow Crest a short distance. Take a right onto Central Street. Walk five minutes to the second set of lights. Cross the street to the entrance of the College. From there, allow twenty minutes to walk to your destination on campus.

Note: TheCommuter Rail schedulecan be accessed by calling 1-800-392-6100. Please call ahead when making travel plans; the schedule varies on weekends and holidays. You may also take the Commuter Rail to Wellesley from Back Bay Station.

If you prefer,call a taxifrom the Wellesley Square Commuter Rail stop. Fare to the College will be approximately $4.00.

OR

From South Station, take theMBTA Subway(Red Line) inbound two stops to Park Street. Go upstairs and change to the Green Line. Ride an Outbound subway marked "RIVERSIDE-D" to Woodland, the second to last stop on the D Line. Fare is $2.00) Follow the above directions from Woodland.

By Bus -- From Peter Pan and Greyhound Terminals at South Station

Use commuter rail directions above or take a Non-ExpressGreyhoundorPeter Pan busto the Riverside terminal. Cost is approximately $8 from Boston. From Riverside,take a taxito the College. See Taxis on Wellesley College's transportation web site. Fare will be approximately $15. The commute from Riverside takes approximately one half hour.

Note: Express buses DO NOT stop at Riverside. All fares are subject to change. Travel time may need to be increased during rush hour.
