Riverdale: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (2024)

Reviews 33% Audience Score 50+ Ratings Archie Andrews starts the school year with the world weighing on his shoulders. He's decided he wants to pursue a future in the music business, but his recently ended clandestine relationship with the music teacher has left him without a mentor, and his friendship with Jughead Jones is in a bad place. Things look like they might be turning around when Veronica Lodge, a new girl, arrives. Despite the instant chemistry, Veronica is hesitant to risk a friendship with Betty -- who has a crush on Archie -- to pursue anything. Amidst all the small-town banality lurks a mystery: the recent tragic death of Jason Blossom, the twin brother of beautiful and popular troublemaker, Cheryl. Riverdale: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya Autostraddle Betty's burgeoning bisexuality which she can't quite seem to grasp, is fully realized storytelling. It appeals precisely because it's at the margins of Riverdale's main storytelling. Apr 10, 2023 Full Review Riverdale: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Emma Stefansky The Ringer The CW teen drama routinely took out-of-left-field supernatural twists. It’s the last of its kind. Aug 25, 2023 Full Review Riverdale: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Anna Govert Paste Magazine Whether you’re a long-haul Riverdale stan or your morbid curiosity gets the better of you, the series’ seventh and final season is absolutely worth watching. Rated: 8.5/10 Mar 30, 2023 Full Review Riverdale: Season 7 | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Samantha Coley Collider While many of the campy Riverdale trademarks that have made this show a smash hit are certainly still there, the limitations of the time period... set the final season off to a rocky start. Ellie I I wrote an entire in depth, well thought out, review. I highlighted it to copy and paste into my drive. Rotten Tomatoes made it vanish. Wow. Just don't watch the seventh season, the first six are perfect in comparison and everyone lives happily ever after... except Fangs who dies a rock star at 28, and Baby Anthony who ceases to ever exist. To the writers: What? The soviet spy plot fell flat as a pancake, and the intense hom*ophobia of the 50s magically doesn't exist. Weird to profit off of Emmett Till in the name of accuracy but then make nothing else about the decade accurate. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/24 Full Review Rogue 5 It's not horrible, but it takes away the mystery element, which is what made Riverdale good. Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Owen H Despite having had several problems in the past seasons in terms of plot, I think it was an excellent closure, full of nostalgia and fun for those of us who follow this series without judging its past, it is a series that I will remember until the last of my days and it is a series that I recommend watching to anyone who is looking to have a milkshake while admiring the mystery of what it is to live Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/24 Full Review Bryan B So bad ! The worst season Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Ana Laura G Couldn't watch an episode to relax. Everyone was a victim and nobody actually could stop being a victim. Too many messages on the show to be able to enjoy, seems like they want to brainwash people and not entertain them. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Ania S This one was nice comeback to the first seasons vibe. For me it was a nice ending to the whole story.
