lease understand the axles cannot be returned for any reason unless it is within the warranty period, or an incorrect part was sent. In the case of an incorrect part it is the installers sole responsibility to determine if the part is correct or not, if an incorrect part is installed and either damages the axles or any other parts, it is the sole responsibility of the installer and absolutely no repair under warranty will be given nor reimbursem*nt for loss of time or monetary cost.
Level 0 axles have no warranty against breakage.
1. Warranty for level 2 units are 6 months from date of purchase, axle is covered for repair only and only for the covered period. (Unless noted on invoice). 2. Warranty for Levels 2.9, 3, 3.9, 5, 5.9 and all drive shafts are 12 months from date of purchase. The axle or drive shaft is covered for repair only and only for the covered period (unless noted on invoice). DriveShaft shop and its distributors may not be held responsible in any way for loss of time, loss of money or reimbursem*nt for damage caused by the products
3. Absolutely no axle or drive shaft will be returned unless it is a new unit that has not been installed and is returned in original box with copy of original sales receipt and return authorization number. Returns are for credit only, NO EXCEPTIONS. Authorized returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. Credits are for parts only and we do not refund shipping and handling charges on any returns.
4. Ripped boots are not covered under the warranty; this is considered a road hazard and any damage caused by ripped boots will not be covered under the warranty.
5. Axles purchased from The DriveShaft Shop or its distributors are covered for repair of the unit purchased only. These are performance products and should be installed by certified professionals, The DriveShaft shop and its distributors may not be held responsible for loss of money, time or inconvenience caused by the use of our products and by installing the unit you are agreeing to all of these terms and release The DriveShaft Shop and its distributors of any and all liability and waive the right to all and any law suit that may arise from the use of these products.
6. Any custom made Axle or Drive shaft is non-refundable. We will do everything in our power to help make the part fit or work correctly, but there will be no returns or refunds on "custom" parts.
7. Any aftermarket or custom drive train part attached to our axle/drive shaft will release "The Drive Shaft Shop" of any liability or warranty claim. There will be no exceptions to this.

The Driveshaft Shop has been designing driveshafts used in racecars and street performance cars for over 30 years. Driveshafts can be ordered in carbon fiber, Aluminum and Chromoly. The Driveshaft Shop dynamically balances every drive shaft at over 9000 RPMs for unsurpassable dependability and we want to let you know why that is so important. Most balancing machines depend on sensors that determine the “weight centerline” of the spun part and this then gives the information that is needed to determine how much weight is then necessary to bring it with the required tolerance. However, if the shaft can be spun at the actual speed it will be used at it can provide significantly more information affording the opportunity to make a much more precise correction, and an additional significant advantage is that The Driveshaft Shop’s high-speed balancer can analyze parameters such as joint tolerance, tube flex, harmonic resonance, slip yoke instability and more, all extremely important and helpful in making the drive shaft as precise as possible. Many balancing machines only spin anywhere from four hundred to three thousand RPM but this new balancer that The Driveshaft Shop had custom made is exceptional because of its ability to dynamically balance at over nine thousand RPM’s. Now let’s talk about the differential and we are sure all you racing aficionados know this but some of you enthusiasts new to racing my want a little help. When your car corners the inner wheel travels a shorter distance than the other wheel and if your car did not have a differential the result would be either an inner wheel that rotates much too fast or the outer wheel would drag and that is certainly not something you want because then your car would be extremely difficult to handle, and you would experience tire damage or possible drive train failure. But what if you are in the performance arena and don’t want cornering difficulties such as the inside wheel spinning while hard on the gas in your powerful Corvette, Charger or 300C then you need a limited differential and you will find one by The Driveshaft Shop below that is of inimitable quality, and because it allows for a limited amount of clutch slip between each axle side you will experience relatively small differences in rotation when you take that corner and will prevent dangerous wheel spin.
