Moonside lake
The Reaper fell down and crashed onto it's feet behind Orion, making a loud booming sound with a little splash. "Oh..." Orion turned around to see The Reaper towering over him with the Blade of Mercy sticking out of it's left arm. "No..." The Reaper went to lift it's scythe with both arms only for the left arm to come to a stop thanks to the Blade of Mercy being inside it, though there was no other visible signs of pain The Reaper's halted attack allowed Orion to turn and pick up the Vacuous Child before running away from The Reaper.
After getting distance on The Reaper Orion turned to see The Reaper ripping the Blade of Mercy out of it's arm and tossing it aside. "Alright... Only option." Orion took out his hunter's pistol and shot twice at The Reaper only for his bullets to bounce off of it's chest. "Nevermind, no options." Orion put the Vacuous Child down and stepped in front of it as The Reaper began to approach. Orion gulped with his breathing growing erratic and sweat dripping down his forehead whilst his ears were filled with the sounds of his rapidly beating heart.
The Vacuous Child looked from Orion to The Reaper and then to the side. Orion clenched his free hand into a fist before aiming his hunter's pistol at the nearing Reaper and before he could pull the trigger a large red thunderbolt hit The Reaper, sending it sliding to the side. Orion's eyes shot to where the thunderbolt came from to see the Abhorrent Prophet. "You think you were getting rid of me that easily!?" The Prophet angrily shouted while marching towards The Reaper. "I'll tear you apart. You're nothing but a steppingstone! I'll take that scythe and use it to kill every other GREAT ONE!"
As the Abhorrent Prophet stepped in front of Orion he stopped and turned his head to the hunter before looking down at his leg that the Vacuous Child stood by. "Wonderful! This is just my night isn't it!?" The Prophet launched itself at the Vacuous Child only for a white arcane blast to hit the Prophet away. Orion stood on-guard like a frightened cat whilst his eyes shot from The Reaper to the Abhorrent Prophet. "Okay... How am I gonna survive this...?" Orion muttered to himself through gritted teeth. "RAAHH!" The Prophet shot at The Reaper like lighting bolt and shouldered tackled it's chest.
With a loud boom The Reaper was sent sliding back and the Abhorrent Prophet continued the attack with a flurry of punches that shout out lighting strikes right after connecting to electrocute The Reaper. Seeing the Abhorrent Prophet focused on The Reaper Orion grabbed the Vacuous Child's hand and ran for the Blade of Mercy. The Prophet followed up the flurry of punches by placing both palms on The Reaper and electrocuting it only for it to lift up it's fist and smash it against the Prophet's shoulder, the loud boom resulting from it getting Orion to quickly turn to see the Prophet get smacked aside.
The Reaper turned to face Orion and began marching towards him and the Vacuous Child. "Is it after me or you?" Orion questioned, not taking his eyes off of The Reaper. "I don't know." The Vacuous Child responded getting Orion to slump his shoulders. "Great... And of course I have to deal with this alone!" Orion exclaimed before running and jumping for the Blade of Mercy, quickly rolling up to his feet Orion saw The Reaper jump into the air with it's scythe raised and falling down at the Vacuous Child. "That answer's that question!" Orion exclaimed whilst trying to run to intercept The Reaper's attack.
The Vacuous Child stood completely still as if unaware of the rapidly descending danger and it was clear Orion wasn't going to make it in time. Luckily, a bolt of blue lighting hit and engulfed The Reaper, causing it to fall just short of the Vacuous Child. The lighting soon formed into Jekyll sitting on The Reaper's shoulders and beating down on it's head. "AAHH!" Jekyll screamed, continuing to frantically beat down on The Reaper's head before having his leg grabbed by The Reaper and being slammed into the ground.
The Abhorrent Prophet charged at The Reaper from behind only for The Reaper to spin around still holding onto Jekyll's leg and hitting the Abhorrent Prophet with Jekyll. "Urgh!" The Prophet slid back and as he recovered from the hit he was once again hit with Jekyll as The Reaper tossed said hunter at the Prophet. Orion took this chance to slash The Reaper's back before immediately following that up by grabbing the Vacuous Child and running, barely avoiding The Reaper's scythe as it spun around and tried to swing at Orion.
"R-Raahh!! Aaagh!!" Jekyll screamed as his body tensed up and he tightly gripped his head whilst writhing on the ground, struggling to not succumb to beasthood. "You, still trying to hold on?" The Prophet questioned and towered over Jekyll. "Succumb" The Prophet's voice boomed in Jekyll's head and his screams grew louder as his body began to emit large amounts of lighting whilst twisting and contorting in unnatural ways. Orion put the Vacuous Child down what he believed to be a safe distance away from The Reaper.
Jekyll's screams and the sound of lighting drew Orion's immediately onto him. "Jekyll-" Orion wasn't able to worry about him too long as the large Reaper charged at Orion and he was forced to block The Reaper's scythe with the Blade of Mercy. Orion managed to block but the sheer impact of the strike caused Orion's body to uncontrollably shake, leaving Orion open. "Nnaagh!" The Reaper punched Orion's stomach which caused him to cough out blood before The Reaper grabbed Orion by his hunter's garb, lifted him up and slammed him against the ground before throwing him aside.
Orion rolled on the ground and when he came to a stop tried to quickly get up to his feet only to fall flat on his face. "urgh! f*ck!" Orion coughed out more blood and with his vision blurred he could barely make out The Reaper lift it's scythe with the Vacuous Child standing in front of it without moving anywhere. "Oh... You're threatening me." The Vacuous Child spoke with the ground underneath The Reaper glowing before exploding and shooting The Reaper upwards into the sky. Whilst The Reaper was in the sky a red bolt of lighting hit it before slamming it into the ground behind the Vacuous Child. With his remaining strength Orion managed to use a Blood Vial before he could pass out.
"You... I know your purpose... But I still must kill you..." The Abhorrent Prophet spoke as he neared the Vacuous Child only to get cut on the side of his head by the Blade of Mercy. "Urgh!" The Prophet turned his head and scowled at Orion who jumped back enough to avoid any attack from him, only to get tackled down by Jekyll. Jekyll's body had grown beastly hair that electricity coursed through, his face looked less human and seemed as if his skin was turning into bone, Jekyll's fingers had boney and long. ""rrRRAGH"
Orion held Jekyll back with the Blade of Mercy whilst Jekyll attempted to bite at his neck. "G-Get a hold of yourself...! Jekyll...!" Orion shouted, struggling to hold Jekyll back. The Abhorrent Prophet turned it's attention to The Reaper rising to it's feet, finally starting to show signs of damage as it struggled to stand. The Reaper's scythe began to violently shake and it struggled to hold it in place, holding the scythe up as a familiar loud high-pitched screech filled the Moonside Lake with the entire scythe glowing white rather than just the blade.
The Abhorrent Prophet's eyes shot from The Reaper to the Vacuous Child and back to The Reaper as it's body began to crack with white beams of light shooting out of said cracks. Wasting no time in seeing what would happen the Prophet turned and ran for it, expecting a giant final attack. "Nnngh!" Orion grit his teeth and instinctively went to cover his ears at the sound of the continuous loud screech, luckily for him Jekyll fell to the side and writhed at the ground thanks to the same sound. The Reaper swung the scythe downward and pierced the ground of the Moonside Lake.
"Ngh! Damn it...!" The Prophet shouted as the entire ground of the Moonside Lake glowed, crack and exploded, engulfing everything in the Moonside Lake.
Byrgenwerth College
Apollo ran around the Byrgenwerth College in search of Jekyll and Orion, coming to a stop and instinctively lifting his arms up to shield himself as a white beam of light exploded out from the Moonside Lake. The water of the lake rained down and a large body fell down in front of Apollo, hitting the ground with a loud thud. "What the....?" Apollo slowly lowered his arms, looking down at the thing that fell down in front of him.
"Hey. Are you alive?" The Vacuous Child's voice echoed as Orion's unmoving body floated in the depths of the large lake. The Vacuous Child appeared almost as if out of nowhere as it swam close to Orion, placing a hand on his chest it began to glow and engulfed the two. "HAAAA...! URGH!" Orion's body shot out of the water with him gasping for air and practically puking out water as he got ashore. Breathing heavily Orion noticed The Reaper's scythe laying on the ground. Orion turned onto his back and coughed out some more water.
Apollo's eyes widened in horror as the thing that crashed down in front of him struggled to it's feet. A beast, resembling Jekyll but resembling an old darkbeast even more so, almost towered over Apollo only to fall on it's knees. "nnngh... rraah...! A-Apollo...!! Kill me....!! AA!" Apollo readied his great sword, sweat running down his forehead with his hands shaking as he stared down at the beast which would leap at Apollo and slash at him, forcing him to block with his great sword and jump back.
Darkbeast Jekyll
"I...! Can't...! Control myself!! AAARGH!" Jekyll roared and charged at the horrified Apollo, who very clearly did not want to fight.
